USE-IT

USE-IT is an international project offering specific tourist info for young travellers. We want Bratislava to join the European network of this project and make a special map of the city. We have a specific target group of young budget travellers and we want to show them where would a local go for a cheap lunch, good concert, to relax in a cosy cafe or hidden park outside of the main touristic area. At the same time we want to tell true stories about the city and its monuments and mark in which way is our life specific. We want to show to the people from other countries special points of view of Slovak young people. All within the map.

Our goal is to publish a map independently, USE-IT is not for profit, no one will pay to be on the map. It will be made by locals and we plan to update it once a year. And we want to distribute it among the young travelers in the 2012.

The effect of the project is bringing young travellers closer to the local community, it helps to get to know it better, to understand different cultures and it helps to create tolerant environment.
